Felix Röper dances an improvisation under the guidance of Monica Artino (Asd Ballett Club Ronchi / Italia) at the Odeon theatre in Vienna. Felix Röper is an incredibly talented dancer with Down syndrome. Felix started dancing when he was about 12 years old. Since then, he managed – despite all the odds – to impress in different countries with his skills. Not only did he dance at the inclusive dance festival in Russia, but also was the first person with Down Syndrome that took part in the opening sequence of the Vienna Opernball. Since 2018 no other than Renato Zanella is Felix‘ dance teacher as well as mentor. During this period Felix took part as a solo dancer in many inclusive performances like „Tanz ohne Ende“, „Musica Sacra“ and „Orgel Plus“ directed by Renato Zanella. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
